Two suspects arrested with M4 US carbine and AK rifle in Kulgam

Security forces late on Tuesday night arrested two suspects along with a M4 US carbine and an AK rifle near Jawahar tunnel in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.
“Two suspects were arrested in a joint operation near Jawahar Tunnel in Kulgam district at midnight on Tuesday,” an Army official said.
He said the security forces recovered one AK rifle with two magazines, one M4 US carbine with three magazines and six Chinese pistols with 12 magazines.
The truck was coming from Akhnoor, Jammu and was intercepted by joint forces following an input by the police.
