Quality mass transport system needed

There has been a phenomenal growth in the number of vehicles in Srinagar. Besides, nearby towns, such as Anantnag, Pulwama, Kulgam, Budgam, Baramulla, Ganderbal and Bandipora, are also growing fast and have a large traffic interaction with Srinagar. In the absence of adequate and quality mass transport system, people are using personal vehicles, which are adding to the traffic congestion on roads. The government needs to look at the ways to ensure quality mass transport system in the city, which can help ease the traffic mess, which has become a chronic issue.

Unscheduled power cuts

Our locality in uptown city is facing power cuts after every two hours. These are unscheduled power cuts and are making life in the winter terrible. We appeal to the authorities to look into the issue, which is getting worse with each passing day.
