The first phase of the review meeting covered Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Srinagar, Ganderbal and Budgam districts falling in North and Central Kashmir. Subsequently, Congress chief will review party activities in Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama Districts on Sunday, the party said.

The meetings held threadbare discussions over the upcoming challenges and resolved to further strengthen Congress Party for the benefit and betterment of the people. On this occasion, Karra urged the cadres to take the programmes and policies of the party door to door vigorously and remain connected with people and make all efforts to resolve the issues they are confronted with.

He said the Congress party shall continue to fight for rights of the people and full statehood with constitutional guarantees to restore the dignity of J&K.
