Will create more platforms for sports in Valley, says Madhav

BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav today said the Centre would create more platforms for sports activities in the Kashmir valley.

Madhav, who concluded his two-day visit to the Valley on Friday, made the comments during a meeting with a group of youths.

“Several delegations comprising non-political persons like doctors, lawyers, etc, met the BJP national general secretary before his departure in the morning. A delegation of the J&K Youth Alliance also met him and demanded more support for the conduct of sports activities in Kashmir. Madhav said sports activities were the need of the hour and assured that more platforms for sports activities will be created. He said he will take up with the Centre the issue of building better infrastructure for sports. He also said many sports activities were in the pipeline,” said BJP media in charge Manzoor Bhat.

Madhav had watched the I-League match between Real Kashmir FC and Chennai City FC played at the TRC Turf Ground yesterday.
