Ghulam Nabi Zargar, renowned for his intricate wood carvings, has dedicated his life to perfecting the art form and his work, characterised by detailed patterns and exquisite designs, has garnered national and international acclaim.

“We are thrilled to present this exhibition, which not only honours the remarkable talent of Ghulam Nabi Zargar but also highlights the cultural significance of wood carving in Kashmir,” said Mahmood Ahmad Shah, Director of Handicrafts and Handloom, Kashmir.

According to the department, the exhibition promises to be a visual feast for art enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone interested in the rich heritage of Kashmir.
