The State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Punjab on Sunday conducted Punjab State Talent Search Examination (PSTSE) in various schools of the district. As many as 1,885 students from government and government aided schools of the district, including 943 students of Class X and 942 students of Class VIII, appeared in the exam at 14 examination centres. Providing information, District Education Officer (Secondary) Harjit Singh said that the state-level examination was conducted under the guidance of Secretary School Education Krishan Kumar. He said the students of Class VIII who would qualify through this examination would get a scholarship of Rs 200 per month up to Class X and the students of Class X would get a scholarship up to Class XII.
