10 new Covid cases surface in Jalandhar district

Jalandhar, July 6

As many as 14 new cases of Covid were reported from Jalandhar on Wednesday of which 10 were from the district (remaining patients belong to Kapurthala).

The Covid tally in Jalandhar reached at 78,652 cases today. As many as 76,987 people have recovered from Covid in the district, while the number of active cases stands at 84. The deceased tally remains at 1,581.

Meanwhile, the Kapurthala district reported four new cases of Covid on Wednesday, taking the district caseload to 23,970. Meanwhile, no new death was reported in Kapurthala either. The total deaths in Kapurthala remains at 583.

The new cases include a 39-year-old man, a resident of Sultanpur Lodhi; a 50-year-old-man, a resident of Kapurthala; a 71-year-old-woman, a resident of Kapurthala and a 22-year-old man, a resident of Phagwara.
