Garhshankar: 12 hurt as bus carrying devotees falls into gorge

As many as 12 persons suffered injuries after a private bus carrying devotees fell into a gorge near Garhi Mansowal.

The injured persons were shifted to the Civil Hospital, Garhshankar. They were discharged after administering first aid. As many as 30 devotees were on way from Moga to Khuralgarh to pay obeisance at Khuralgarh Sahib, holy place of Guru Ravidas.

When the bus reached the hills of Garhi Mansowal village, it went out of control and fell into a gorge. Nearby villagers reached the spot and informed the police about the incident.

After getting information, the police reached the spot and pulled out the passengers of the bus with the help of people. Those injured have been identified as Jagroop Singh, Inder Singh, Jagir Kaur, Avinash Singh, Hardeep Singh, Karanveer Singh, Keval Singh, Surinder Singh, Buta Singh, Des Raj, Kashmir Kaur, residents of Moga district, and Manjeet Kaur, a resident of Rasoolpur Jandi village, Ludhiana district.
