The Hawk Riders Cycling Club organised a 1,200 km ultra cycling event titled ‘Himalayan Express’ that took riders across four states, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir.

The event, which was held from March 20-23, saw seven registered riders, five of whom started the event. After completing the gruelling ride with an elevation gain of over 12,000m, three riders emerged victorious.

“We are thrilled,” said Rohit Sharma, president, Hawk Riders Cycling Club. The finishers of the event were Mayank Singh from Patna, Natush Chadha from Jalandhar and Dalvir S Rehsi. About the finishers, Sharma shared, "Mayank has multiple Brevet des Randonneurs Mondiaux (BRM) finishes,, Natush is a 44-year-old business entrepreneur from Jalandhar, he has done the Paris-Brest-Paris cycling event (1,214 km in 80 hours) and numerous endurance rides in India. Rehsi, a 43-year-old from Hoshiarpur, is a PBP finisher (2023).
