The Commissionerate Police apprehended 15 proclaimed offenders (POs) in June.
Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur said teams from the PO staff and various police stations conducted multiple targeted raids. These operations, backed by strategic coordination, technical inputs and advanced surveillance led to the arrest of 15 absconders in the previous month. Since March, the Commissionerate Police, Jalandhar, has arrested 54 proclaimed offenders, reflecting its determined efforts to bring the fugitives to justice.
“Our police teams are working tirelessly to ensure that offenders cannot escape law. The arrest of 54 POs in just a few months shows our dedication. We are making it clear that those who attempt to evade justice will be caught and prosecuted,” said Dhanpreet Kaur.
