Sixteen faculty members of Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, along with Director Binod Kumar Kanaujia, have been ranked among the top 2 per cent scientists of the world for the year 2024. This global survey is conducted annually based on a scientist’s research credentials, jointly by Stanford University, United States and Elsevier, which is a global information analytics company for institutions and professionals.

They include Director Binod Kumar Kanaujia and faculty members Dr JN Chakraborty, Dr Balbir Singh Kaith, Dr Vishal S. Sharma, Dr T Srinivas, Dr Uma Shanker, Dr Balwinder Raj, Dr Vijay Kumar, Dr Samayveer Singh, Dr Karanveer, Dr Mohit Kumar, Dr Arvind Kumar, Dr Harsh Kumar, Dr Sanjay Kumar, Dr Mahendra Kumar and Dr Afzal Sikandar. This achievement is a testament to the exceptional contributions by these scientists and researchers in various fields.

Director Kanaujia appreciated the remarkable achievements and outstanding contributions of the scientists to high-quality research. Last year, six faculty members were listed, while this year, sixteen scientists were cited, highlighting the excellent research potential of NIT-Jalandhar. He congratulated the faculty members on this remarkable achievement, attributing it to their hardwork and dedication.
