Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Rozgar Melas organised at 40 locations across the country through a video-conferencing. During the 17th tranche of the Rozgar Mela, more than 51,000 appointment letters were given to candidates.
A special programme was organised at Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, under this initiative. Vinod Kumar Verma, Chief Postmaster General, Punjab Circle, was present on the occasion as the Chief Guest and handed over appointment letters to over 180 youth selected for various government posts.
Vinod Kumar Verma encouraged the new appointees to continue working hard to achieve greater success. Highlighting the benefits of the Karmayogi Platform, he mentioned that it serves as a valuable resource where one can access free training and knowledge to enhance ones professional abilities.
Prof Vinod Kumar Kanojia, Director, NIT Jalandhar, congratulated the recruits and said the youth play a crucial role in the progress of the nation. He noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Rozgar Mela initiative, launched in 2022, has already provided employment opportunities to lakhs of young Indians, accelerating the nation’s development momentum.
The event was also attended by Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, Deputy Commandant, Border Security Force.
