The girl, who hails from a village of Nurmahal, has alleged that she was engaged to a Canada-born youth from Nakodar. Their families were closely knit and their parents had told them to get familiarised with one another before they got married.

The victim has alleged that during one of their meetings, the youth made her take a soft drink laced with intoxicants and raped her. A friend of her fiance too raped her. She said that since she was not fully conscious, she did not know exactly what had happened and had no idea of any video also being made.

So far, we have got to know that this incident is a year old but the video got leaked recently. We had taken the opinion of DA legal before lodging the case."

Meanwhile, the father of the accused youth has alleged that his son was being framed. "The girl had relations with another youth and this video is of her with that youth. My son has tattoos all over his arm but the youth in the video does not have any such tattoos on his arm. So it cannot be him," he has claimed seeking justice for his son.
