Phagwara, March 1
The School of Design and Mass Communication at GNA University organised a two-day workshop on ‘Innovation in acting for animation’ by Naveen Anand, the resource person. The main objective behind the workshop was to create believable and engaging characters who can be animators and must also be actors.
The workshop commenced with the explanation of basic principles involved in animation. The workshop helped the participants to learn the synchronisation between thinking, scene construction, characterisation, emotion and physical action to tell a story. The students got involved in various activities and explored the new techniques and skills of storytelling which haven’t discovered yet.
Pankaj Singh, HOD of SDMC said, “The workshop imparted thrilling experience to students in storytelling.” Gurdeep Singh Sihra, Chancellor, GNA University, said, “I am delighted to witness the enthusiasm among the students to be a part of such practical workshops.”
