The Jalandhar Commissionerate Police have recovered two minor girls who had gone missing a few days ago. Commissioner of Police (CP) Dhanpreet Kaur informed that FIR No. 281 was registered on November 22 under Section 137(2) of the BNS at the Division No. 8 police station, after two minor girls, aged 14 and 16 years, went missing while returning from school.

The police team of Division No. 8 police station led by ADCP-I and ACP (North) immediately conducted raids at multiple suspected locations, the CP said. During raid at Kathua, the police team recovered both minor girls and apprehended two accused individuals involved in the incident. Further probe has been initiated into the matter.
