2 motorcyclists burnt to death in Punjab’s Goraya as bike catches fire after speeding car drags it

Phagwara, January 23
Two men riding a motorcycle were burnt to death as the bike caught fire after being hit by a speeding Mercedes car from rear near Atta canal in Goraya on Monday night.
The car dragged the motorcycle with it for some distance and the motorcycle caught fire.
Rajinder Singh (38), resident of Katpalo village in Phillaur; and Gurpreet Singh Gopi, resident of Ashahur village in Phillaur; died on the spot.
The police have impounded the car and arrested its driver Dharampreet Singh.
The bodies were handed over to the families after the post-mortem.
