CP Sharma said the police arrested the suspects. A case under Sections 20, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act was registered against the duo at the New Baradari police station, Jalandhar.

“During investigation, it came to fore that the gang used to procure ganja from Odisha and supply it in the state,” he said.

He said the consignment was to be delivered in Jalandhar. Further investigations were on to ascertain to whom it was to be delivered. “The suspects have no crime record and further investigations were on in the case,” he said.
