20 house surgeons appointed in health institutions of Hoshiarpur

The Health Department has appointed 20 new house surgeons in various health institutions across the district. Cabinet Minister Dr Ravjot Singh and Hoshiarpur MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa formally handed over the appointment letters to the new appointees during a function held at the Civil Surgeon Office, Hoshiarpur, today.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Ravjot Singh congratulated the newly appointed house surgeons and urged them to discharge their duties with honesty, punctuality and full dedication. He emphasised that, as doctors, they have been given the opportunity to serve humanity and should do so wholeheartedly, treating patients with love and compassion.

MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa reiterated the Punjab Government’s commitment to providing quality health services to the public near their homes.

Civil Surgeon Dr Pawan Kumar Shagotra informed that out of the 20 house surgeons, 7 have been posted at Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur, 4 at Sub Divisional Hospital (SDH) Garhshankar, 4 at SDH Mukerian and 5 at SDH Dasuya.
