274 of DAV College get BEd, MEd degrees

The convocation ceremony of MEd and BEd students was held at DAV College of Education, Hoshiarpur.

Vice Chancellor of Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, and former Vice Chancellor of Guru Nanak University, Amritsar, Dr Jaspal Singh Sandhu, who was the chief guest, was welcomed by Principal Dr Anoop Kumar and secretary RM Bhalla.

Sandhu termed it a big day for the students and the entire staff. Sharing memories from his personal and professional life, he motivated students to follow the right path without succumbing to any pressure.

He said the students should make their own path and try to become financially independent without depending on their parents. He also highlighted the importance of hard work and perseverance and encouraged the students to accept failure as a powerful catalyst for growth, resilience and self-discovery.

A total of 274 students of MEd and BEd were awarded certificates. Two assistant professors of the college were honoured with doctorate degrees.
