29 ex-servicemen join as BSF jawans

The passing-out parade and oath ceremony of new constables (batch number 271) was held at the Subsidiary Training Centre of the Border Security Force at Kharkan camp, Hoshiarpur. After retirement from the Army, 29 soldiers passed out after undergoing 28 weeks of rigorous training and joined as constables in the BSF. Sindhu Kumar, Inspector General, Subsidiary Training Centre, Kharkan, was present as the chief guest along with Birendra Kumar, Second-in-Command (Training).

Addressing the parade, Inspector General Sindhu Kumar congratulated the new constables on the successful completion of the training and encouraged them to perform their duties with dedication and commitment. He appreciated their excellent display of confidence, skill and coordination during the parade. Kumar also appreciated the efforts of Birendra Kumar, Second-in-Command (Training) and his team for moulding the new constables into physically and mentally strong and empowered sentinels.
