3-day law fest at PU centre begins today

The three-day National Law Fest ‘Aequitas 2024’ will be held from February 15-17 at Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. During these three days, students from various law colleges and universities across the country will participate in legal, cultural and quiz competitions.

The information was provided by Director PUSSGRC Prof HS Bains while addressing a press conference here today. Prof Bains said that cash prizes worth more than Rs 2.5 lakh will be given in various competitions. Along with Moot Court, Client Counselling, Judgment Writing Competition, Literary Competition, Parliamentary Debate and Inquisitive-3.0 Quiz will also be organised.

A cultural evening will be held on February 15 in which the cast of Punjabi film “Awaaz Punjab Di” will be specially present. Singers Firoz Khan, Harry Sandhu and Sukhwinder Sukhi will also entertain the participants with their songs. International singer Khan Bhaini will showcase his talent on February 16.

Justice Rajesh Bhardwaj of Punjab and Haryana High Court will attend the valedictory ceremony to be held on February 17 as the chief guest.
