3 drug peddlers arrested, heroin, capsules seized

The police have arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 12 grams of heroin and 30 intoxicating tablets from their possession. The accused, identified as Satnam, of Gauhawar village near Goraya, Gurpreet Singh, of Madhopur village, and Gaurav Kumar, of Nangal Colony, Phagwara, were nabbed at three different check-points. Five grams of heroin was recovered from Satnam, seven grams of heroin from Gaurav and 30 intoxicating tablets from Gurpreet, the police said. Three cases under the NDPS Act were registered against the three accused, the police said.
