Jyoti has seven prior cases under the NDPS Act, reflecting her continued involvement in narcotics trafficking.

“This case highlights the changing dynamics of drug trafficking networks, where female operatives are increasingly being used to evade police scrutiny,” added the SSP.

A case has been registered under Sections 22-61-85 of the NDPS Act at Phillaur Police station, and the vehicle used in the crime has been seized.
