For the financial year 2025–26, the state has allocated Rs 663 crore for the construction of 840 kilometres of roads, of which 342 kilometres have already been completed. Additionally, Rs 190 crore has been earmarked for the construction of roads and bridges during the current financial year.

Dr Ishank Kumar said a comprehensive plan has been put in place to strengthen the road infrastructure in Chabbewal. This plan is now being implemented at a cost of Rs 35.93 crore.
