The Attestation Parade of female recruit constables (Batch No 64) was held at the Subsidiary Training Centre (STC), Border Security Force (BSF), Kharkan Camp, Hoshiarpur. A total of 40 female recruit constables, who had joined the BSF on compassionate grounds and completed 24 weeks of rigorous training, passed out today to serve the nation.

Sindhu Kumar, IG, STC BSF Kharkan Camp, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He was welcomed by Ratnesh Kumar, Commandant (Training), STC BSF Kharkan, along with other officers.

During the parade, the Chief Guest was honoured with a General Salute by the contingent of passing-out recruits. The recruits took the oath of allegiance to the Constitution and the country under the National Flag.

Addressing the parade, the Chief Guest congratulated the recruits on the successful completion of their training and heartily appreciated their excellent display of self-confidence, skill, and coordination — the hallmarks of the parade. He commended the recruits for choosing BSF as a career path and exhorted them to serve the country with courage and enthusiasm. He encouraged them to become shining inspirations for the youth of the nation, motivating others to shed hesitation and step forward to join the armed forces in service of the nation.

He also extended his congratulations to Ratnesh Kumar, Commandant (Training) and the training staff for their dedicated efforts in molding the recruits into self-confident, disciplined, and skilled Praharis. He blessed the recruits and wished them a bright future in life and service.
