48 units of blood collected at Guru Hargobind Nagar bank
dedicated to 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib
A blood donation camp dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and his brave companions — Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Diala Ji — was organised at the Guru Hargobind Nagar Blood Bank in Phagwara. The camp was held under the supervision of blood bank president Malkeet Singh Ragbotra and in collaboration with the Council for Blood Transfusion, Punjab.
The camp commenced with a prayer (Ardas). Special guests Dr MP Singh, Akali leader Sukhdev Singh and Gurmeet Palahi addressed the gathering and reflected on the life, teachings and supreme sacrifices of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
Tara Chand Chumber served parsad among those present on the occasion and prayed for the success of the camp. A total of 48 donors donated blood as a gesture of service to humanity. In his concluding remarks, Ragbotra expressed heartfelt gratitude to all donors, dignitaries and supporters for their contribution in making the camp successful. Harbans Lal, Amarjit Basoota, Raman Nehra, Mohan Lal Taneja and Sudha Bedi were those present on the occasion.
