The MP told officials that construction of the road should be started as soon as possible. Strict instructions were issued to maintain the quality of the road and officials were told that any kind of compromise regarding its quality would not be tolerated. Rinku asked senior officials to regularly review the ongoing work.

The MP said that with the construction of this road, it would be very convenient for commuters coming from Hoshiarpur, including Adampur and Jandu Singha, as they would not need to come to Jalandhar city via the Ramamandi Chowk.

Rinku said the state government was continuously working to improve road infrastructure and the existing paths were being strengthened to connect villages with major cities.
