60 units of blood donated at camp
A blood donation camp was organised for the first time in Mansa Devi Nagar, under the joint initiative of Shri Ram Kutir Ashram and Youth for Blood Seva, Hadiyabad, Phagwara. The camp continued from 10 am to 4 pm, collecting around 60 units of blood.
Former Union Minister Som Parkash inaugurated the camp and commended the young blood donors for their noble contribution. He highlighted that there is no alternative to blood, and only a healthy individual can help a patient in need by donating it. Praising the organisers for their efforts, Som Parkash urged them to continue such initiatives in the future also. Shri Ram Kutir Ashram director Anirudh Duggal and Youth for Blood Seva president Varun Nangla expressed their gratitude to the former minister for his presence.
Several dignitaries, including BJP leader Sonu Rawalpindi, Pandit Rudki, Gagan Soni, Dinesh Duggal, Jayant Sharma, Vivek Kumar, Mani Duggal, Prince Saini and Love Duggal, were also present at the event.
