The local police arrested a drug smuggler and recovered 8-kg ganja from his possession last night.

The suspect identified as Shankar, a resident of Khamano village was nabbed at a check point near Gaunspur village. The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act and a motorbike has also been impounded.
