Nitin Kohli, AAP's Jalandhar Central Halka In-charge, met BCCI President Mithun Manhas and discussed the rapidly growing sports ecosystem in India and the bright future of sports in Punjab, especially Jalandhar.

Kohli highlighted that Jalandhar is known as the sports capital of Punjab due to its sports industry, manufacturing units, coaching facilities, and talented athletes. He presented key proposals for establishing modern training centres, youth academies, and creating national-level opportunities for local players.

BCCI President Mithun Manhas appreciated Kohli's vision and commitment towards sports. He assured full support from BCCI in promoting cricket and sports across Punjab and Jalandhar. Kohli expressed deep gratitude to the BCCI President for giving him time despite a busy schedule and for offering guidance and encouragement. He stated that such a support serves as major motivation for thousands of players across the state.

Kohli also informed that he has launched the 'Fit Central Jalandhar' initiative in his constituency, developing modern turf tracks, sports grounds, and community fitness facilities across parks and wards to promote active, healthy living among people of all age groups.
