Major Dr Amit Mahajan, a PCS officer of 2012 batch, on Monday assumed the charge of the Hoshiarpur Additional Deputy Commissioner (General). Earlier, he was posted as the ADC (General) in Ferozepur. Mahajan has also worked as the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Jalandhar, and SDM of Mukerian and Hoshiarpur.

Taking the charge, Mahajan said various services would be provided smoothly to the residents. He said at the sewa kendras, people would not face any kind of problem.
