Admn felicitates NGO

Jalandhar, June 14

On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, a Jalandhar-based NGO, EduYouth Foundation, was honoured by the district administration and Jalandhar Civil Hospital for its extraordinary services towards humanity.

The NGO had organised a number of blood donation camps, tree plantation drives and langars for the needy people and many more social activities in the past.

Jalandhar Additional Deputy Commissioner Amit Sareen was the chief guest at the event. He presented the NGO’s team with an appreciation award and a plant in order to convey a message to spread greenery. EduYouth Foundation president Prof Kanwar Sartaj Singh, while receiving the honour, said all members and volunteers of his NGO were working for betterment of society.
