Garhshankar: Poets focus on social issues
Garhshankar, November 7
Om Prakash Jkhmi’s second book ‘Shahnai aur Janaza’ was released at a function organised by the Doaba Sahitya Sabha and the Darpan Sahitya Sabha jointly today. During this, famous poets of Punjab recited their poems.
Amrik Hamraj, principal Bikar Singh, Avtar Sandhu, Sarwan Sidhu, Jog Singh Bhatla, Pardesi Mahilpur, Resham Chitrakar, Sohan Singh Sunni, Sohan Singh Tony, Ranjit Singh Posi, Tara Singh Cheda, Jasveer Kaur, Jyoti Sharma, Taranjit Gogo , Nav Kamal, Dilawar Singh, Diksha and Om Prakash Jakhmi presented poems exposing social evils. — OC
