Visits isolation centre, interacts with patients on video call

Chabbewal MLA Dr Raj Kumar visited the Covid Isolation Center of Hoshiarpur Civil Hospital and reviewed the arrangements made for the treatment of patients on Sunday. Expressing his satisfaction over the arrangements, he said the hospital staff was doing an appreciative job and many critical patients had recovered. He also interacted with the patients admitted to the Covid isolation ward through a video call.
Dr Kumar said in view of summer, the process of installing an AC in the ward would be completed soon. He thanked the Chief Minister providing oxygen and other medicines with all government hospitals across the state.
He said 110 level 2 and 10 level 3 beds had been provided in the Covid ward of the Civil Hospital. The MLA asked all doctors and staff to ensure that all doctors and paramedical staff serving at the Covid ward be vaccinated.
He said people must adopt Covid-appropriate behavior to cheack the spread of virus and also educate others to follow the guidelines. The MLA hailed the efforts of Sr SMO Dr Jaswinder Singh, SMO Dr Swati and SMO Dr Badhan.
