On Thursday, the team of Odisha Naval Tata High Performance Center in Pool B and Surjeet Hockey Academy in Pool C have confirmed their place in the semi-finals of the championship.

Players performed better on the fifth day of the 19th All India Balwant Singh Kapoor Under-19 Boys Hockey Tournament at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium. In the first match of Pool C on Thursday, SAI NCOE Sonipat Haryana defeated Jarkhar Hockey Academy Ludhiana 5-2. Sunil, Ankush, Sarijan Yadav, Aditya Kumar scored 1 goal each for the winning team. Arjan Deep Singh scored 2 goals for Jarkhar Academy. Sunil of SAI NCOE Sonipat Haryana was chosen man of the match.

In Pool B, Odisha Naval Tata High Performance Center team performed better and defeated Shahbad Hockey Academy Haryana 6-0. Yojin Minz scored two goals, Bilkan Oram scored 2 goals, Bidyananda Singh and Deepak Pardhan scored 1 goal each. Yojin Minj of Odisha team was chosen man of the match.

In Pool C, Surjit Hockey Academy defeated SAIL Hockey Academy Roorkela 3-1. Harshdeep Singh, Ajaypal Singh, Mandeep Singh scored 1 goal each for Surjit Academy. Lalson Minz scored 1 goal for SAIL team. Ajaypal Singh of Surjeet Hockey Academy was chosen man of the match.

SAI NCOE Lucknow defeated Army Boys Sports Company Bangalore 6-2. On behalf of the winning team, Suraj Kumar, Gaurav Yadav, Ritash Pandey, Mithlesh Yadav scored 1-1 and Salman Lakra scored 2 goals. For the Army team, Shubham Sanjay Shinde and Arsh Ali scored 1 goal each. Salman Lakra of SINOCE Lucknow was adjudged man of the match.
