All-India Police Kabaddi Cluster to kick off today

Punjab Police Sports Secretary Navjot Singh Mahal on Sunday announced the first All India Police Kabaddi Cluster 2024-25 would take place from March 3 to 6.

He said the event would be inaugurated by ADGP State Armed Police, MF Farooqui. Mahal said the cluster would feature sports competitions in Kabaddi, Gymnastics and Kho-Kho at PAP Headquarters in Jalandhar, with Fencing competitions being held at Lovely Professional University in Phagwara.

Approximately 2,000 players and officers from 30 police teams across the country are set to take part in these events. Mahal said all preparations for the competitions have been completed under the supervision of DIG Administration PAP, Inderbir Singh.

DIG Inderbir Singh also presided over a meeting on Sunday to welcome the teams and ensure the smooth running of the games at both venues.
