Ambulance with specialists flagged off for flood-hit areas

Under the directions of Civil Surgeon Dr Rajiv Parashar and the supervision of Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr Annu Sharma, a modern ambulance equipped with medical facilities was flagged off to provide healthcare services in flood-affected areas. This initiative is being carried out with the support of the Smile Foundation.

The ambulance, flagged off by Dr Annu Sharma, is staffed with a team of specialist doctors and stocked with essential medicines. It will travel from village to village to ensure that medical care reaches flood victims.

Priyanshu, coordinator of Smile Foundation, said the aim of the initiative is to conduct health check-ups for patients in flood-hit regions and provide free medicines to those in need.

Present on the occasion were DDHO Dr Moninder Kaur, District Mass Media Officer Jaswinder Kaur, Deputy Mass Media Officers Sharndeep Singh and Sukhdial Singh, Superintendent Ram Avtar, Dr Kanchan, ANMs Priksha and Mamta, driver Kulwinder Singh, and other officials.
