The ammonia gas leak at the Sports and Surgical Complex in Jalandhar resulted in no casualties, with all 35 workers safely evacuated. Deputy Commissioner Dr Himanshu Aggarwal confirmed the successful rescue operation following the leak from a safety release valve at M/s Metro Milk Products on Monday evening.
Emergency services responded promptly, with a fire brigade team arriving at the scene within five minutes. They initiated the evacuation through an emergency exit, ensuring the safety of all workers involved.
