In a collaborative effort to combat drug abuse, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, in coordination with the district administration and the police, organised an anti-drug awareness rally at Langroya village here. The event was aimed at spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, particularly in sensitive areas of the district.

The rally was flagged off by District Sessions Judge Priya Sood, Civil Judge Dr Amandeep Singh, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Mehtab Singh at Senior Secondary Smart School, Langroya. A large number of school children, led by their principal Dr Surinder Pal Agnihotri and village sarpanch Gurdev Singh Pabla, marched through the village raising slogans against drug abuse.
