Ayurvedic, homoeopathic camp benefits 510 patients at Phagwara Civil Hospital

A free medical camp offering Ayurvedic and Homeopathic treatment was organised at the Health Centre of Civil Hospital, Phagwara, under the directions of the Director of Ayurveda, Punjab and led by District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr Kusum Gupta.

A total of 510 patients were examined — 258 through the Ayurvedic system and 252 through the Homeopathic system, and provided with free medicines.

Patients suffering from digestive ailments, skin conditions, joint pain and high blood pressure were among the beneficiaries. In addition to treatment, doctors offered guidance on diet and lifestyle adjustments based on body constitution and seasonal changes, and highlighted the benefits of yoga and pranayama for overall well-being.

The medical team included Ayurvedic Medical Officers Dr Rajeev Kumar, Dr Gurdeep Singh, and Dr Sunita; Homeopathic Medical Officers Dr Ankush Aggarwal and Dr Raminder Singla; pharmacists Pavandeep Kumar, Varinder Kumar, and Raj Kumar; and support staff Anil Kumar and Veena Rani.
