Phagwara, July 22
MLA Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal has slammed the state government over unscheduled power cuts in the state.
He alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has failed to supply adequate electricity to farmers and the general public. Farmers were promised a minimum of eight hours of electricity during the paddy season, but in reality, they are receiving only three to four hours. He pointed out that no ministers or legislators of the government send their children to any government school in Punjab. Dhaliwal said the Aam Aadmi Clinics are merely revamped old dispensaries and the government has also failed to address the drug problem.
