A motorcyclist died after he was hit by a tipper on Mahilpur-Garhshankar road on Sunday evening. According to information, Neeraj Kumar, son of Subhash Chander, a resident of Muggowal village, was going to his village on his motorcycle after closing his shop in Mahilpur. When he reached near the new bus stand at Mahilpur, he collided with a tipper parked on the road in front of a liquor shop.

He was taken to the Civil Hospital, Mahilpur, for treatment and seeing his critical condition, he was referred to the Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur, but he died on the way. The tipper driver fled.
