BJP Trade Cell hails GST relief

The BJP Trade Cell Punjab has launched an awareness campaign to thank PM Narendra Modi for providing GST relief to 140 crore Indians.

Launching a campaign titled 'Dhanyawad Abhiyan', members of the cell hailed the reduction in GST rates and the abolition of the 28 per cent and 125 per cent slabs, which have been replaced with 185 per cent and 5 per cent, respectively.

"It is a revolutionary step taken under PM Modi's leadership. This move is a big Diwali gift to the people of India before the festival and will prove to be a big boon for small businesses and traders," said Ravinder Dhir, co-convener of the cell. On the occasion, Dhir added that the widespread GST relief would benefit every citizen of the country.
