Body found in drain

A body was found in a drain in Subhash Nagar here. The incident came to light when locals spotted the body lying in the drain. The police recovered the body and the deceased was identified as Ishtkar. The preliminary reports indicated the deceased was unmarried and was residing in Phagwara. He was a heavy drinker. The body has been sent to the Civil Hospital for postmortem.
