Phagwara: The Lohian Khas police have arrested three villagers, including two women, on the charge of selling and brewing illicit country-made liquor. The accused have been identified as Kamaljit Kaur of Motipur village, her son Anmoldeep, and Sukho of the same village, and 150 kg lahan and utensils for brewing were recovered from their possession. Phagwara: The Mehatpur police have booked many persons on charges of stealing Rs 3.5 lakh and other items from a school.
