Jalandhar: On a call given by the IMA for a complete bandh of all non-emergency and non-Covid medical services all over the country on December 11, a protest was held against all the mixopathy law that the Central Government was forcing on the practitioners of the modern system of medicine. The Jalandhar IMA unit asked all its members to close their OPDs and postpone elective surgeries in solidarity with the national call. The bandh was observed from 6 am to 6 pm by Jalandhar IMA members, though emergencies and suspected Covid patients were attended by all doctors during this time. TNS
