BSF's daredevils show skills, stunts at LPU

Lovely Professional University (LPU) hosted the Border Security Force’s “Janbaaz” motorcycle show on its campus today to celebrate 75 years of Independence, marking the ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
During the celebrations, cultural and band performances were presented by a team of more than 100 personnel from Frontier Headquarters of the BSF in Jalandhar and LPU students. BSF personnel’s passionate dance presentation, musical yoga and LPU students’ colourful dandia dance were much applauded. The BSF daredevils enthralled everyone by putting up a show of undaunted courage with their gallant, resolute skills and stunts. During the show, amazing rows of uniformed bike riders standing in perfect coordination perched on motorcycles; neck riding, fish riding, jumps, pole exercises, back riding, ladder riding, side riding, musical ride, and tube light show and many more were performed by the daredevils under the command of their team captain.
Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh, LPU vice-president Dr Aman Mittal, director-general HR Singla, pro vice-chancellors Dr Lovi Raj Gupta; prof Sanjay Modi; executive dean and registrar Monica Gulati, senior director Dr Rajeev Sobti, and many top ranked BSF officials were present on the occasion. — TNS
