BSP state president Dr Avtar Singh Karimpuri along with BSP leaders today paid tribute to Babasaheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar at Dr BR Ambedkar Chowk here.
Karimpuri said Babasaheb worked for the betterment of all sections of society. While he gave constitutional rights to the Dalit and backward classes and made them share power through representation, he also fought for the equal rights of women.

Karimpuri said Ambedkar wanted to see India as a prosperous country on the basis of community. That was why he talked about the abolition of the caste system, because only with the abolition of caste can a prosperous society be built by eliminating social divisions and the feeling of high and low.
