Phagwara: The Congress has accused BSP candidate from Phagwara Jasvir Singh Garhi of being registered as voter at two places. Garhi said he had got just one vote made at his native village. “Some Congress workers have played mischief and got my name added in Phagwara. I had even lodged the matter with SDM on January 24”, he said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
