Campus notes: Basketball & Archery Tournaments
Police DAV Public School hosted inter-house basketball and archery tournaments under the guidance of Principal Dr Rashmi Vij. A total of 48 players participated in the basketball tournament, where Manasvi House emerged victorious with 72 points. In the archery tournament, Manasvi House again won, with Dhruvika securing first place in the recovery round, Manu in second. Damanrit and Shivani took the top positions in the compound round, while Angad and Sulabh secured first and second place in the Indian round. Dr Rashmi Vij congratulated the winners.
Ivy World School hosts Talent show
Ivy World School hosted the ‘Talent Fiesta’, bringing together students from grades 1 to 12 to showcase their diverse talents. The event featured performances in singing, dance, drama, painting and art & craft. It served as a vibrant platform for students to display their skills, confidence and creativity. K K Vasal, President of Vasal Education, expressed pride in the students’ talents and emphasised that such events help in building confidence, teamwork and a spirit of joyful learning.
Seminar on Stress Management
Montgomery Guru Nanak College of Education’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Health Club organised a seminar on ‘Mental Health and Stress Management’. The session was led by Vinod, a teacher from the Art of Living, who was joined by Neeti Mehta, Krishna Arora, Nehil Arora and Himanshu. Vinod emphasised the importance of keeping the mind healthy and stress-free, suggesting techniques like observing breath, smiling and practicing sudarshan kriya to reduce anger and worry. Principal Dr Neelu Jhanji welcomed the guest with a medicinal plant.
Certificate Distribution Ceremony
Delhi Public School held a certificate distribution ceremony to honour students who excelled in the Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) and Communication Skills by Trinity College London. The ceremony was graced by Varun Mata and Ritika Ratna, official representatives from Trinity College, who presented certificates to the achievers. Principal Ritu Kaul congratulated the students and Ritika Ratna spoke about the growing importance of life and communication skills in today’s world.
